Feel the mountain freedom: our chalets at the foot of Mt Dachstein
Our lovingly designed mountain chalets, the “Kuschelhütte” and “Romantikhütte”, are a modern expression of our farm-run Alpine huts at 1,600 metres above sea level at the foot of the Brandalm pasture on Mt Dachstein. They’re furnished with great attention to detail and natural materials such as reclaimed wood and natural stone. Rustic and charming: Here the great outdoors invites you to linger away from the hustle and bustle. Wake up in the morning with a view of the mountain pasture. Breathe fresh mountain air. The heart and all the senses align in the tranquillity of nature. A holiday that will stay in your memory long after you journey home.
Starting point for adventure
Hiking trails lead from our pasture to the most beautiful places on Dachstein plateau, to nearby peaks, and down to beautiful Ramsau am Dachstein. Fantastic routes also open up on a mountain bike. Pristine nature right on your doorstep and the most phenomenal view: Your mountain chalet is the ideal spot for a carefree holiday for two, with friends, or with children.
Feeling peckish?
In your chalet, you’re the chef and can create all your favourite dishes with ease in the fully equipped kitchen. Of course, if cooking isn’t on your agenda, a stop at Brandalm will satisfy all your cravings. It’s only about 50 metres away from our mountain chalets. Here we’ll keep you satisfied, from the morning Alpine breakfast to the evening nightcap.
Good to know
- Check-in is between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
- In winter there is no access to the hut by car, not even via Dachsteinstrasse. However, you’re welcome to park your vehicle down at Brandhof.
- Due to the high-quality furnishings, we unfortunately cannot accommodate pets in our chalets. We appreciate your understanding.
- Due to the limited availability of card payments at Brandalm, we kindly ask you to pay the total amount for your stay by bank transfer before your arrival.
