Panoramic cable car
The ride up with the fantastic views from the panoramic gondola with its top-to-bottom windows is an experience in itself. The cable car is equipped with a type of viewing platform that promises you a ride up with an open-air feeling!

Anyone brave enough to cross the one-metre-wide suspension bridge on Mt Dachstein can look 400 metres down into the depths. At the end of the bridge, you can climb down the steps of the Stairway to Nothingness.

For the even more daring, there are 14 steps down to a glass platform, where you’ll be rewarded with a fantastic panoramic view.
Dachstein Ice Palace
In the Ice Palace, you trek deeper into the glacier and enter a mystical world of ice and snow, where you can marvel at carved figures, ice columns, and a crystal dome.
Skywalk
Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Hohe Tauern mountain range and see as far as Slovenia and the Czech Republic! The unique glass platform is easily accessible to everyone.
Hiking, climbing, mountaineering, and paragliding
Numerous hiking and mountain tours are possible from the Dachstein Glacier. Dachstein is also a paradise for climbing fans, with no fewer than 14 via ferratas to be conquered. With paragliding you can soar into the air from Mt Dachstein and experience high-altitude flights.
Cross-country skiing and ski touring
Cross-country skiing will be possible again on Dachstein Glacier from winter 2024/2025, as the glacier cable car construction work has been completed. Numerous ski tours on the Dachstein Glacier are possible without using the glacier cable car.
